TaARI Research Day
Research Day is an annual full-day showcase of research occurring at TaARI. Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows update the department on their recent research. The program is highlighted by a keynote speaker. On June 13, 2019 Lauren Lazowski, Diabetes National Sales Director at Eli Lilly Canada, explained her career trajectory from undergraduate student to pharmaceutical affairs at a multinational company.
Hematology Grand Rounds
The Regional Haematology and Thromboembolism Grand Rounds are broadcast electronically to all of the Hamilton hospital sites from the Juravinski Cancer Centre host site. The locations are as follows:
- Juravinski Hospital: JCC Lecture Theatre (Host site)
- McMaster University Medical Centre: MUMC 4U19
- Hamilton General: David Braley Res. Inst. Auditorium or HGH Theatre Auditorium
- St Joseph's Hospital: Classroom D
Rounds are biweekly on Fridays from 12 noon till 1 pm. Lunch is served. Here is the 2019/2020 Schedule.
TaARI Seminar Series
TaARI supports a monthly seminar series, usually on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the DBRI Auditorium. Light refreshments are available. Here is the 2018/2019 Schedule.
TaARI Graduate Student Seminar Series
TaARI supports a weekly seminar series of our post-doctoral fellows, masters candidates and doctoral candidates to present their experimental work to their peers. Pizza lunch will be available. Here is the 2019/2020 Schedule.
